A Music, Safari and Culture Experience Built for the Tribe

The wait is over. Tickets and travel experiences for Echoes of the Wild – Kasane Weekender are now available on our website, giving the Echoes Tribe the chance to start planning their unforgettable journey to Chobe.

Set for 18–19 July 2026 in Kasane, the Weekender is more than a music event. It is a curated Botswana experience that brings together music, safari energy, culture, fashion, food, creativity, and the wild in one destination.

This year, Echoes of the Wild has made the experience even easier and more flexible. Guests can choose from full travel packages that include transport, accommodation, safari activities and event tickets, or build their own adventure by booking event tickets and selected add-ons separately. From game drives and boat cruises to Victoria Falls day trips, airport transfers and accommodation options, the Tribe can now create an experience that fits their budget and travel style.

To make the Kasane Weekender more accessible, Echoes of the Wild has also introduced a deposit and payment policy for selected packages, allowing guests who may not be able to pay the full amount at once to secure their spot and complete payment over 2 months.

The event is especially encouraging students, backpackers, young travellers and groups of friends to take advantage of the affordable package options and discover Botswana through a new lens — one where entertainment and tourism move together.

“Botswana has one of the best safari destinations in the world, and we believe that young people should also be inspired to travel for entertainment, music and safari experiences,” says Ona Ranyere of Echoes of the Wild. “Traditionally, many safari activities happen in the morning, and once guests return, they often go back to their hotel rooms. We wanted to create something different. When our Tribe comes back from a morning game drive, they can come straight into a vibrant event space, relax, enjoy beautiful music, explore stalls by local creatives, taste local dishes, experience traditional massages and learn about our cultures in one place.”

The 2026 Kasane Weekender is designed to extend the tourism experience beyond the safari vehicle. It brings life, sound and community into the afternoon and evening, creating a seamless journey from Chobe’s wilderness to Echoes’ dancefloor.

The event promises a rich entertainment programme featuring Electronic House Music, Afro House, Afro Tech, Tribal House, Ancestral House, Deep House, Afro Beats, Dancehall, Hip Hop, R&B, poetry, live percussionists, cultural music and traditional dance performances. Beyond the stage, attendees will discover a curated marketplace of local food, fashion, art, craft, wellness and cultural experiences.

Echoes of the Wild also sees the 2026 Kasane Weekender as a platform to support tourism growth and community visibility in the Chobe District. The event will work with local communities to help market and promote their cultural offerings, ensuring that the people and traditions of the region are part of the experience.

As part of this commitment, the Echoes team will also host a creative workshop for artists and creatives in the Chobe District, focused on helping participants better understand the business of entertainment. The workshop is expected to be held in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Gender and the Ministry of Sport and Arts in the area.

By combining music, travel, culture and creative development, Echoes of the Wild is not only building an event — it is building a movement. A movement that encourages young people to travel within Botswana, supports safari operators and local businesses, amplifies community culture, and gives the Echoes Tribe a reason to gather in one of the country’s most iconic destinations.

Tickets are now available on the Echoes of the Wild website.
